ONWARD AND UPWARD ~ Plateauing a little on that upward swing

It's been a busy week with acute pain and I'm trying to follow the doctor's orders, so that means the exercise gets cut back to light stretching. On the up-swing, I've not been retiring to bed and I am continuing to move around. Sparkpeople has been instrumental in this positive mode.
Tracking my stress level in Stress Busters is helping me discover where my stressors are. I am reminded of something I've heard termed as The Serenity Prayer where it states changing the things I can change and accepting those things I can't change. The latter is a difficult challenge for me. I need some work in that area. Oh gee! I'm not perfect. lol I lost at perfectionism a long ways back. I have finally learned that to be an impossible goal, but one to make strides towards because I can always attempt to grow and do better. Sparkpeople is teaching me that too.
I am learning the goal in this journey to a healthier me is to do it one step at a time, but never quit. Any movement is better than no movement so this body continues to be a body in motion no matter how little and slow. Go with the flow Glo!
