Recap of what has been happening:

Family: I have been traveling up north to visit and help my parents out before their big move next month. I still have a few more trips to do! I am bringing home 2 more kitties to my house next weekend. My parents can't take them with them. So I will be the proud cat mommy of 4 boys and 1 girl! Hubby and I are sometimes seeing each other and sometimes not due to all the different meetings and things happening. My bike commuting is cutting into our time together in the evening sometimes too!

Tour de Cure Training: This past week I have ridden over 63 miles! I am getting in at least one big ride on weekends and then commuting just over 14 miles a day, each time I commute. The bike riding has been great for relaxing and enjoying quiet time in the morning. Besides my thighs feeling tight at times, but I am able to maintain cardio at higher reps for longer without feeling like I am dying!

Injuries: My ankle is still bugging me, but it is improving. I am making sure to wrap it before workouts and bike rides. This is helping it strengthen. Hopefully this won't be reoccurring...

School: Testing season is beginning- I am starting to feel the stress of how will I accomplish everything that I am responsible for. I am also unsure what will my job be next year. I have not received much confirmation, except that I won't be in my current role. We had our annual basketball game against another school. We won for the 3rd year in a row. It was close and fun! I enjoyed playing for my students. I did not feel like I was going to die running up and down the court- I think my bike rides have helped this a lot! I am still working on my to-do list for the end of the year. But I have decided it will be a categorized by area!

Finally, I want to get off this dumb plateau!!! It is stressing me out. I know people have noticed a change in my face etc. But I am not seeing it in my weight.... I am hoping all the changes and extras I am doing will help me get back on a losing track. I would love to be back to my wedding weight before the end of the school year! (215- fingers crossed I have till June 21st.)

Well, tomorrow new pics and measurements- let's see what happens!

Look at you- rocking the bike rides! Keep up the great work! I know being in a plateau stinks - but I think that as you're riding your bike more and keeping on track with nutrition will get you through it!
