Haven't blogged in a long time

I started out not knowing what to write about. I joined sparkpeople years ago and have not done the right thing yet. I come here to vent a lot. i tend to take the time to do the simple things on this website like how much sparkpoints can i get today, instead of using it to track water which i am lousy at doing or tracking food. I join challenges thinking they will help, but i am fooling myself because i know i can do more, but i don't. What is stopping me?? I don't really know. I just know that i need to do this. I always say tomorrow i will do it, tomorrow doesn't come. I need to change it to today. I need to stop coming up with excuses as to why i thought of exercising but didn't.
Step 1 I plan to blog everyday, need to start to push myself more.(never did this before).
Step 2: Try to remember no more excuses and DO, DO, DO something!!!
There are no other steps as of yet because i need to take baby steps, if anyone disagrees with this , please tell me your input i need all the help i can get.

    You know, deep down inside, what you need to do. I can't tell you how to make yourself do it but I will be here cheering you on when you do!

    I think the one thing that worked best for me is telling myself to do 10 minutes of SOMETHING every day. Only 10 minutes. I didn't feel like it, but I made myself do it anyway.

    Try making just one small change per week. For me, looking at the big picture can be overwhelming, but I can do little things and they will add up to big changes!

    emoticon I'm with you girl! I started over again in April or the last day of March. I too started blogging - with the goal of a daily blog - I have missed a few. Blogging has really helped me. Not only did I set the goal of blogging - but of reading 5 other blogs and leaving comments. This has motivated me alot! I have bad knees, can't walk a mile without pain - but I can ride a bike. Find what you can do and enjoy - anything is better than nothing! I set small goals, that way I can actually obtain them. You can do this! It isn't easy, but the rewards are numerous! I am right here on the path with you! Come on, let's go!!!

    Every little step does add up .... try to set very small goals in the beginning because its too hard to achieve large ones ( takes longer also) ! With every small goal you reach you will soon see a BIG difference ! I have bad knees and started with just 10 minutes of walking a day not concerned with the distance at all. You can start a spark streak and see how long you can keep it going.... liking the tracking or 10 minutes of evercise or drinking water or 5 vegetables a day and so on !
    You can't achieve anything if you never start !
