Mother's Day Weekend is here!

Friday, May 10, 2013

Just wanted to make a quick blog to tell everyone out there Happy Mother's Day weekend! Even though my mother hasn't been 'with us' for the past six years doesn't mean we're missing a day with her! She is up there and smiling down watching over my life and the lives of my family. I just know it! I love you and miss you so much mom!

I also wanted to take the time to say this was in the mail....

So happy I got it and cannot wait to read it! When I was walking up to the mailbox my dad hollered down (also towards my husband), "I bet you she got a Play Girl in!" Lol... I was like seriously dad? LOL It was at 9:00PM at night and he was yelling that! My father is also the man that when I was a teenager would walk through the store yelling, "Hey Amber! I got your coochie covers!" referring to maxi pads.... I absolutely love my father!

Anyways I will be reading the book this weekend and posting a late "Week 3 Family Walk" blog tomorrow. Ever since I got this job I have been a busy bee preparing for it! Speaking of which, I need to wrangle in the husband and get to bed, we BOTH have to work tomorrow. Well I am doing orientation and he is actually working! Good night loves, be safe and blessed be!

I have an embarrassing dad too. emoticon I love my dad but some of the things he does...oh my gosh. Hey, at least your dad was brave enough to get your pads. My dad runs away from a tampon commercial!! emoticon

The book looks interesting. I haven't read it yet but I'm thinking about it. Hope you enjoy it!

Good luck with the new job & Have a happy Mother's Day! :)
