Challenge ending and last weekend... got ENGAGED

Friday, May 10, 2013

Last weekend I got engaged!!!! Was dead on about the flowers!!!!!!!! SP gave away the type he got!

Well my challenge has ended this week! I think I did good. Did not meet my goal wight during it but I did lose a great amount during it :). I am now 171.4! And I think I lost 10-15 pounds during it. Cannot wait for a summer challenge!!!!

I managed to hit my calorie goal more. I made it a goal to hit 1200 a day. Realized I was eating about 500-800 a day in the beginning. And that is not very healthy. There were some days where I wouldn't eat at all. Not because I starved myself but some days if I eat even a tiny bite of food I will be vomiting all day or just dying of stomach pains. I've had this issue for about 10 years. (started a bit after my dad passed away and I started doing bad things)

I am really glad I did this challenge :). If I hadn't of done it I probably would be in the 180s or 90's... Hope to lose more next challenge!

Congratulations on your engagement - even though it wasn't a surprise totally, I bet you were still excited and "surprised" because it MIGHT not have been what you thought. That is so special and exciting. Good luck.

I always consider that making progress is actually MORE important than the specific "goal number" on the challenges. I have done several month-long challenges where the goal was 10 pounds and have lost 5 or 7 or 3 pounds during them and felt that I had done pretty well. It isn't always the exact amount lost, it is the effort and the direction that I am moving.
