There is a first time for everything!

Yes, that is right, there is a first time for everything! Today is my first time ever writing a blog. I'm a little wary right now, but I'm sure it will come just as natural to me as logging into my email first thing of a morning.

What is my reason for loosing weight? That is a good question, that people have been asking me for a while now. I wouldn't say I was huge. I'm about 5'4" and was around 150 lbs. Again, not huge, but to me it was horrible. I grew up a very active and athletic person. Over the years I grew very lazy. I got to the point where, I would come home EVERY night and just want to lay on the couch. My Husband, bless his heart, actually does all the cooking, so he was enabling me to just be lazy! We went to the fair one day last year and their were some ladies there that were selling Bee Pollen products. I have heard of people having great success from these such products, but have always been wary to try. After speaking with these ladies (for about an hour), and seeing how much energy they had, and how good they looked, I went home and talked to my husband about it. He said he would back me up 100% on anything I wanted to do. I had my clearance, I was ready to go, or was I? A couple months later after doing A LOT of thinking, I couldn't get the image of how happy and energetic these ladies were! After careful consideration, and a promise to myself, and my husband that as soon as I reached my goal weight I would stop taking it. I finally decided to do it! I ordered my first bottle, and immediately I could tell a difference in my energy level. It was amazing, after the first bottle, I noticed I was loosing weight and eating a lot less. I ate balanced meals, three times a day, but not as much food. That's when I realized that had been my problem the whole time, my portion sizes had gotten enormous!!!

Several months later (including weaning off of it), I had finally gotten down to within 10 lbs of my goal weight and decided to stop taking it. I still had 10lbs to do, but hey, I can do this on my own right? I have plenty of energy now, and I'm good to go! WRONG lol. I did try, and I wasn't putting any more weight on, but I wasn't loosing more either. It wasn't until my job took me to a different building, and there I found free fitness classes at lunch time!!!

Yoga,Pilates,Zumba,Zumba, and Yoga. That is my schedule, and has been since January (maybe February). AND I LOVE IT!!!! I have more energy now than I did on the bee pollen, and I have made new friends, not to mention I look amazing!!!

Most of the girls I work out with either love Zumba, Pilates, Zumba and Pilates, Yoga, or Yoga and Pilates, but I LOVE all three! I love the fast pace fun workout from Zumba. I also love the slow, relaxing pace of Yoga, it's a nice mix. And I guess Pilates is ok lol just kidding, I love the results, but man she kicks our rears!! All joking aside, I do love my Pilates class! I am being struck with a problem though, and that is they are discontinuing with the classes over the summer. I can pay for them if I want to attend, and well, no thought really there, because I am going to attend, but it is just unfortunate that we will have to pay.

I do wish however, that I had times of an evening, or there were classes offered early morning so I can get an extra workout in, but Oh well! What I am doing now, is plenty for me.

Oh almost forgot. I am going to register within the next two weeks to do a mud run. This will be the first organized run for me EVER! I am so excited! I know it will be rough, but I think it will be a lot of fun, and maybe I can even talk my husband into doing it with me :D

Speaking of husband (yet again) we are getting ready to head down south to pick up a new puppy (maybe)! Excited, yet not looking forward to the puppy stages again. The dog we have now couldn't be more perfect. But she is getting older, and I think she deserves a companion in her life, hey who knows, maybe her perfections will rub off on the new pup!! Haha.

Ok that said I better get my errands ran before he gets off work so we can set off on this new adventure!
