J-Lo Buns and all!!

Yesterday I was able to stand with all my weight (and boy there's a lot of it
) and I weighed myself. After my surgery when I couldn't hardly stand to eat, I knew I had lost weight, but then my appetite and my tummy troubles went away and I thought I had gained it all back. But, the scale revealed a 4 pound loss. I have even put on a couple of pairs of capris that I couldn't even get fastened before.
So, now I'm gearing up for the Spark Solution two week challenge that starts Monday. I just started reading the book last night and SP really know their stuff. Everything in the first several pages is what we ALL go through whether you have 20 pounds or 100 pounds to lose. This Group is so in tune with what works and what doesn't and the most amazing part of it is that they aren't shoving it down our throats or charging $20 per month or more to be associated with them. I LOVE SPARK PEOPLE!
Although I sure didn't want to have surgery to help my weight loss, I am so thankful that sitting for 5 weeks and being non-weight bearing didn't add to the poundage!
Pushing myself up out of my recliner, then to the wheelchair, then moving around in it,and standing like a flamingo just to take a shower really toned my bum and glutes! I don't have J-Lo buns yet, but wow the back of my thighs are showing a bit of definition.
I'm very excited to be out of the 220s...it seemed like I was there for way to long. My next goal is to lose 10% and that would be 21.8 pounds. It seems like a lot, but knowing that Spark People and all my teammates are beside me cheering me on, I know I can achieve this.
I am looking forward and planning forward for May 13th!
