Who I was:
The woman who stopped going to events where she might be the only fat person.
The woman who would say no to her kids because some things were physically too hard to do with them.
The woman who would go to the drive thru and order 2 combo meals, hoping the cashier would think she was taking the second one home to someone else.
The woman who ate a gigantic bowl of ice cream every night before bed.
The woman who resigned herself to riding the scooter at the grocery store because of back pain.

Who I Am:
The woman who eats healthy, low carb meals with lots of lean protein and fresh veggies.
The woman who walks 10,000 steps every day.
The woman who says YES to her children.
The woman who has lost 40 pounds so far.
The woman who is taking care of herself, both physically and emotionally.
The woman who is training for her first 5K.
The woman who has discovered that she has the power to change.
