Today I am starting my diet again, for probably the 100th time since Christmas! I have been exercising on and off, but not looking at my eating - in fact I think I am eating more to compensate! This has to stop. My Dr has said due to my medication if I do not get my BMI below 30 (itn is currently 34) I will be at risk of a stroke. I am generally fit, I certainly exercise more than my skinny friends, so whilst i've always wanted to be slimmer, i've always though "oh well, it doesn't really matter as long as I can do what I want!" But I have so many reasons to slim down, and not many to stay fat! Other than my love of food...and booze...

So I am going to find a balance between eating and drinking what I love, and slimming down. I am going to give Slimming World another go, as in the past it has been good for me. My boyfriend is on board, in fact he needs to lose some anyway.

We have 26 weeks until we go to Las vegas and San Fransisco for my partners 30th birthday. I hope by then to be able to pose by the pool with my very skinny wine guzzling friend and not worry about the comparison!!
