I have been doing pretty much the same exercises since getting back on my program and so far this has worked. I do plan, however to start switching my exercises around and add some new ones for variety.
Right now I mostly use Leslie Sansone's 2 mile walks (I have about 39 of her VHS and DVD's of different distances. I plan to get back to using my treadmill, exercise bike, cardioglyde, gazzelle, etc. I have weights of various weights and stretchie bands as well. I many ways to exercise, so I have no reason to be board.
I do not use the gym because I found that after the first week or two I find excuses not to go. My newest reason is that I had a stroke about 5 years ago and my balance is terrible so I prefer to do my exercises in the privacy of my own home. My husband exercises with me some as well.
I am determined to keep exercise in my life as I realize that it is the only way I can lose my weight and maintain it for life.
