Question about Body by Vi and other shakes

So, I have tons of friends selling Body by Vi. To me this is really just people reducing caloric intake, so they lose weight...which you can do with actual food anyway. BUT...I am one of those people who never eats breakfast. Would it be wise to use their shake or really any shake as a breakfast option only? Or can any of you suggest good on the go breakfast options?

    I with one of your previous posters with the shakes that are part of a MLM. I am not a huge fan and they seem like something I can mix myself at home. I typically drink a shake for breakfast though but it is my mixture of powdered greens, whey protein, frozen fruit and almond milk. Plus the nutritional content on them are not all that convincing for the price.

    Breakfast is the MOST important meal of the day, so you should work on changing that asap. You'll probably see your metabolism kick up a notch or two, just from that. I'm not a fan of any product that isn't "safe" enough to be sold in stores or is sold with the hype of getting you to become part of the sales team. That includes Beach Body Shakes. If you want to drink a shake you should look for a good non GMO pea protein powder and mix your own, with almond or coconut milk, fruit and veggies. The amount of chemicals and sweeteners in most shakes is crazy. Breakfast on the go for me, usually involves eggs. Hardboiled with a side of fruit, or veggie & fruit juice, or I'll make a Frittata with lots of veggies and meats, and then slice it up and freeze the pieces so that I can grab one, nuke it, eat it, and go. Good luck deciding on what to do, but no matter what you decide, eating something is better than skipping breakfast.

    hi! i make these banana oatmeal protein muffins that are only about 80 calories each and are super healthy. since i workout in the morning, i grab a muffin, eat in the car. it provides enough fuel for a grueling workout and then i have a protein shake immediately after. i do use a supplement shake - but usually between lunch and dinner - and i recommend a low cal one with a hunger suppressor. i think the shakes are good for "snacks" as long as they are low cal. hope this helps. i use ideal shape for right now for my snack shake since it has a hunger suppressor. make sure whatever shake you look at has less than 5 g of sugar per serving since sugar is the culprit for weight gain.

    You could eat a fat free greek yogurt in the morning to get some great protein in to start your day. They do say if you eat breakfast, you are less likely to overeat later in the day.
