First Weigh-in

Today was my Week 1 weigh-in for my return to SparkPeople and the first of my two DietBets. I've lost 4.4 pounds. I had been hoping for five, since you always lose a lot of water weight in the beginning, but I'm perfectly happy with 4.4. I'm well on my way to the 9.7 pounds I need to lose for my DietBets and I know I did everything right over the past week. I stayed within my nutrition ranges every day, except Wednesday, which was my pre-designated "over day". I did my cardio every day I had planned to and I did my strength training every day I was scheduled to as well. Hopefully I can keep it up over the next three weeks and win my Bets.

Unfortunately I'm still sick, so I stayed home again today. I'm scheduled to do my stationary bike tonight, so I'm really hoping I feel up to it at some point. I got through my lower body ST just fine last night and I think I felt worse then than I do now. So, there's a good chance I'll be able to manage it. I'm also supposed to do upper body ST tonight. I'm just going to rest as much as I can during the day today and take my medicine and hopefully I can do everything I need to later.

Tomorrow my new BodyMedia CORE should arrive and I can't wait. I'm sooooo sick of having to log my food here AND on the BodyBugg site. I don't know how I put up with doing that for almost a full year back when I first bought my BodyBugg! If I get the new one tomorrow, that means I only have to keep up this double food logging today and tomorrow and I can switch over to the BodyMedia site on Thursday.
