First F Class League night

Tuesday, May 07, 2013

Tonight was the first league night for F Class. Weather was perfect- believe it or not. Sunny, no wind and very comfortable temps. Didn't even need a jacket. Maybe summer is here to stay in MN.

Anyway, shooting 600 yards was a challenge since it has been about 9 months since we shot last year in the league. I only shot 180 out of 200 possible points. And only had 2 count as X's in the center of the target. At 600 yards the X ring is only 3 inches across. Sort of like aiming at a softball at 600 yards. My lowest bullet score was an 8, and that means I kept all my bullets in a dinner sized plate at 600 yards. To put it in perspective, 600 yards is six football fields.

Got home around 9:30 and packed up my ebay sales to ship out on Tuesday. Late night so I'm off to bed.

We had gorgeous weather yesterday and should have even better today. Sorry the shooting wasn't up to your usual quality, but I'm sure you will be back up soon.
