April Recap and May Goals

Ok - again, a bit late in recapping - we're on Day 6 of May already. As I had alluded to in one of my previous blogs, pretty much fell off the wagon the second half of April. emoticon I mean, I really don't have any excuse here - it's a combo of busy but mostly just being lazy. I do NOT want the successes I've had so far to make me complacent the rest of this journey. It's going to mean that I'm going to have to buckle down and recommit. It's going to put me out of my comfort zone, it'll probably result in some uncomfortableness, it's going to take some reprioritization - but it needs to be done.

After that little pep talk to myself, here's the recap of the month.

First off-April Recap

Number of workouts: 11
Number of fitness minutes: 565 minutes
Workout Average: 51.36 minutes

Got nothing here. I just stoped working out.

My nutrition - not even going to report. I changed my settings about halfway through the month, which threw off the ranges, and then I didn't track for a majority of days.

Weight lost: 2.3 pounds. Well, that's better than weight loss in the month of March. For the year of 2013, that brings my loss to 14.8 - 20.6% of my 50 pound goal by my 25th birthday in October.

How did I do on these goals?
Goals for April:
--Workout 25 of 31 days Nope - only 11 days (35% of my goal) Grade - F. COMPLETELY failed this one
--Continue to meal plan each week and track food everyday Again - NO. 50%
--ENTER (and stay in) ONE-DERLAND!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon Definitely firmly in ONE-DERLAND. I have NO intention of leaving.
--Travel 100 miles according to Fitbit. Not quite - I only hit 86.52 miles for the month of April. Will try to hit the 100 mile mark for May
--Go through my closet and dresser - get rid of the clothes I don't wear, don't intend to wear Took the clothes to Goodwill and got a donation receipt.
--Take measurements at the end of the month to compare to beginning of the month - inches are important too! Yes!!!! See below (Beginning of March -- Beginning of April -- Beginning of May)
Measure your Waist 40.75 -- 39.5 -- 38.5
Measure your Hips 47 -- 46 -- 46
Measure your Thigh 24 -- 23.5 --23.5
Measure your Upper Arm 12.5 -- 13 --12.5

Again - making some progress here. Not as much as I would like, but no one I can blame but myself. Will have to ramp it up this month. (Who knows - with all the moving I'll be getting a workout from going up and down stairs and some definition in the muscles there)

New Goals for May (Goals for Tracking and Milage will stay the same):
--Workout 20 of 31 days
--Travel 100 miles according to Fitbit
--Pack everything up and have everything ready to move on June 1)
--Fully Participate in 5% Spring to Summer Challenge
--Track ALL spending and savings for the month in Sparksavings.com
--After month is complete, evaluate where spending took place and what adjustments need to be made to budget.

Well - this turned into a pep up blog after not the best results. Know what needs to be done for a better month.
