Happy with myself the way I am

So I do not weight 150... I weigh more like 178. I am happy with the way I am. I have been eating healthy and working out most days. I have a guy who is interested in me and likes me just the way I am. I appreciate my body and how it holds up for me.

I told myself I was ready "to become" healthy, but really I was ready to become thin. I don't know if that is in the cards for me. I don't care. I have perfect blood pressure and eat good nutritious food. I have people who care about me.

I will never be the idealistic version of myself who is always happy. I probably will always have insecurities due to growing up in an abusive home. I can only be happy as I can be and give myself all the love I deserve, 180 pounds or 200 pounds of 150 pounds. All of it, is me.

    Thin doesn't mean healthy!!! It looks like you are discovering this fact is true! This journey isn't about becoming a size 1 or a certain weight, it's about becoming the healthiest person we can for OURSELVES!

    I think one of the most important parts of this journey is feeling good in our own skin! It sounds like you are doing everything "right." You are eating healthy, working out and are becoming more comfortable with yourself. Doesn't that feel emoticon ?
