Out of breath and out of shape

Another letter just sent off to the boy of mine in Michigan. He is having the time of his life. I am happy for his success and the life he is living.

My week has been an eye-opener. I went to Pilates on Monday night and had to rest through half of it due to lower back pain. I did my back exercises on Tuesday night and walked 5 miles on Wednesday night. Thursday I went to a meeting and didn't do any of it. Friday I worked in the yard and pulled dandelions for over an hour, then did about an hour of washing walls before retiring. Saturday I spent the morning (about 4 hours) in the yard pushing the mower and weed trimmer, I also did my shoulder exercises. I was going to go for my 5 mile walk again today, but my stomach started with the rumbles and I chose not to. After all, I am still hurting a bit from the huffing and puffing while chasing an engine on wheels! emoticon

So, on to another week. Can I regain my momentum and will I be able to use my energy this week in exercise so that the weekend isn't such an uphill battle?

    wow love your motivation...wish I could do longer walks..if I get in 2 miles i'm's all about time.
    I am doing a 5k this friday evening for a fundraiser for a sick little boy in the surrounding community.
