Welcome to the month of May! Please let it be better!

Well, I got back on my bike yesterday. I haven't been on my bike for over a month, and there are certain areas of my body that are letting me know this. emoticon Maybe 15 miles was a little far for a first ride after so long a break, but other than the tenderness, it felt great!! emoticon I am hoping to ride after work today, but not sure if that will be doable. It's the weather. It has been raining off and on all day, enough that there is a Flash Flood Watch in effect. The last time I looked outside, it wasn't raining, but I still have about an hour to go before I can leave.

I need a new HRM. I love the model I have, when it works. I have gone through 2 different units in the last 15 months. It is a New Balance N4, and it is a nice, basic HRM. It was comfortable to wear, and easy to set up. The watch was SUPOSSED to be water resistant up to 30 meters. I wore it to the beach and it drowned. I had lost the receipt, and they wouldn't do anything with out proof of purchase. My Mom surprised me with a new one, and it has been working fine up until three weeks ago. The watch is working, but half of the digital numbers do not show. I think I still have the receipt, but I need to find it. I really don't want to invest in another one if the company won't fix it. I am thinking about a Polar FT4. We'll see what happens.

Here's to the Month of May!

Yeah! I beat the rain and made it all the way to Waipahu. I may need my rubber boots in the morning, though!
