Back To My Early Morning Workouts

After two weeks of sleeping in (well- until 5am so I could get in to the office on time), I found that I was not getting my exercise into my schedule and I had to go back to the early morning workouts. So, this past week I was up each day at 4am so I could get in my 30 minute routine of either weights or running before heading to the office. I LOVE getting my exercise in first thing in the morning - it makes me feel great, I feel good that it has been completed, and it gives me a positive attitude for the rest of the day. This does mean that I have to get to bed earlier in the evening - something I am still working on. Right now I have lights out about 10pm - moving little closer to 9:30pm. I must say that the yoga each Monday night has really changed my life. It is hard to believe that one yoga class can have such an impact, but it really has. The hatha yoga class gives my entire body a nice stretch, it lets me clear my mind of the multi-tasking thoughts, and helps me focus. This new mindset has helped me at the office - to focus on what needs to be completed, has helped me be more organized at home, and has helped me focus on my fitness and nutrition goals.
