vacation planned , gotta get this weight down

I still continue to be unmotivated. I do like to exercise, i walk , cut grass, go to gym on occasion but i really haven't made any big exercise commitments lately. I am however going to walk in the race for the cure tomorrow, so its a start. I aready eat fairly healthy, just too much is my problem. I have two wonderful vacations coming up and i need to get motivation or i will feel miserable there. We are going to the beach in mid june then going to my son's military graduation the end of june in texas. I really am looking forward to these vacations but would love to feel better...

    Nothing better than trying on a bathing suit in the GIANT mirror to get your motivation back! I just went and bought 2 new suits because mine were falling apart and were actually too big - THANK YOU!

    So try on a suit and then look and then RUN to the gym and keep that picture in your mind. And then take new weekly photos - even in you only post them to your hard drive - and it will keep you moving. I used to be scared of the camera, but it really does help when you are open to what you see. I like seeing me this way versus where I was last year.

    Hugs to you, and I surely hope you get down and get to where you want to be. If not, rock your body anyway! You have to love you and I support you wholly!

    Good luck in reaching your goals. Drink that water. Eat those veggies and fruits!!! That's the most important thing you can do. I am jealous. Ihaven't been ANYWHERE in twenty years. Yep you heard that right.....NOWHERE. Enjoy and get yourself in shape so you will get the most out of your times away.

    Good for you going in the race! So many people are touched by cancer. My Mom is a survivor.
    Start by tracking your food and fitness. Meal by meal so you can watch the calories adding up before they go over. I always try to do this so I know how many calories I can spare for my last meal of the day. Make an appointment with yourself to do some exercise first thing in the morning before the excuses can build up. I like to do my most strenuous stuff then before it gets too hot.
    You can do this. All you have to do is start.
