Decade Goal Reboot, Month 2 Day 2 - Measurements

Thursday, May 02, 2013

So, I have a seamstress' tape that I use to measure. My last set of measurements look like this (all in inches):

wrists (L/R): 6/6
upper arms (L/R): 13.75/14
neck: 14.75
upper chest (above bust line): 38.75
at bust line: 42.5
under bust (ribs): 35.25
waist (natural, above belly button): 38.25
hips (biggest part of belly just below belly button): 43.25
butt: 44.25
thighs (L/R): 26.25/26
calves (L/R): 16.75/16.5
ankles (L/R): 8.75/8.5

I take the larger of each L/R measurement and add them to all the other measurements to get the total measured inches: 328.75
That's the measurement I use to compare total lost inches. I'm sure there are other ways but that's my way. I've been measuring myself the same way, off and on, for almost 10 years. The smallest total measurement I have is 306" from when I weighed around 160 pounds. I fully intend to beat that by the end of this year (if not sooner, like my birthday).
