Mission shopping for May

Wednesday, May 01, 2013

I had a shopping trip at Costco and I have some left over stock that will last a few more days during may . That will save me a but more money

My goal was to spend no more than $200 on grocery .

Some folks don't like to eat food day after day , I used to be one of them . Then I told my self you gotta stop that . I've learned to adjust .

Today I am making chicken dumpling in the slow cooker .

Cook on high for 5-6 hours .
Mixed veggies
Cream of chicken
Chicken broth
Chicken breast bone out and skinless

This will last for about 10 meals I usually freeze half and pre pack so I can just grab and go.

Today's shopping trip I spent $31.46. I saved $14.44 that's a 33% savings not bad , I'm getting better than I used to be :)

Also I have left over frozen onion and broccoli for future use, a bag of mixed veggies southwestern for a future meal and a pack of chicken breast.

I found a two packs of chicken breast on clearance and 30% off , I just froze the 2nd pack .

I also woke up at 5ish to get in a 1mile and then i did 76 mins on gazelle.

Going to finish the last 44 mins later today . I did a fast wash of my car and I will wash it again on Saturday going to wax and clean the inside as well .

So anyways hope is going well for everybody .

I'm trying to be productive .
