dòmi sou volan an

Wednesday, May 01, 2013

As the end of this school year approaches, however, my retirement is incoming much faster, I'm experiencing a few attitudinal changes. First-I really no longer want to hear faculty gossip, unless I either start it or its about me or both.
Second-with much pride I leave my patience behind with all those jerky students who come to school only to act like its an interruption to their day. I've noticed lately that since those juvenile dip-wads really don't want to be in my class, I'll oblige them by either putting them in the hall or sending them to ISS.
Third-I'm enjoying sitting in faculty meetings with a big 'I don't care' smile on my face as the principal outlines all the jumping' through' hoops' accountability(?) BS that my former colleagues will be wading through next year.
Fourth- I now wait until the last possible minute before I turn in grades, reports, etc.
Fifth- always waiting at home, usually Beefeater Gin.
Sixth-for the next 2 weeks my lessons consist of showing various videos that I enjoy watching.
Seventh-"So students, with pride I say to you, if you didn't get it when I taught to you the first time, then you were domi sou volan an".
Eighth- there is no eighth.
