I love nutrition and food... Isn't that part of the reason why I am here??? Lol buttttttttt, I love reading recipes and cooking and shopping and new gadgets and products. So for what it's worth I like to share what makes my life easier in the kitchen.

Almond Milk

I add 1c to my protein shake and any recipe that calls for it. Only 40 calories and delicious. I like that this one can be stored in the pantry until it's opened then needs to be refrigerated.

NInja Blender

I just ordered it on QVC and I am in LOVE, makes my protein shakes in a snap and came with a mini chopper too. It is fabulous. Only $59. I got mine on EZ pay. emoticon

Isotonix Multivitamin

I read about these on another site and decided to give them a try. So Far I like them. The difference is these are powder that gets mixed with water, it absorbs into your system quicker.

Natural Peanut Butter

I love peanut butter but hate the calories. This is not a lower calorie version just a natural one with no added sugar. good to add to recipes, to use with fruit or add to oatmeal or protein shakes.

Multigrain Crackers

YUM YUM YUM. This is a great low cal crackers that tastes yummy. 2 crackers are 70 calories. Top it with a laughing cow cheese and you're good to go!

On another note, I realize many of you struggle with the cost of healthy eating. It's not cheap. I look at it this way, when I buy fruits and veggies I make sure to buy what I know I will eat for the week. I don't go overboard, and when I cook I usually eat the same thing for lunch the next day and maybe even dinner the next night. I waste very little, and since I portion out my foods I feel that it lasts longer. I make sure I know what I need before I go shopping and try to avoid buying what I don't need.

My goal for May is to lift harder and do more intense cardio workouts. Not necessarily longer but definitely harder!!! There is a lean, fit sexy woman inside waiting to emerge. She's been there all along times she would show up for a while and then when I stopped paying attention she would leave. She insists on being put first, and when I put her first everyone else is happier for it. I love her and want her to be here FOREVER!!

I'm a fan of almond milk and my Ninja, too! I haven't tried the Smucker's Peanut Butter.... is it the kind you have to keep in the fridge and does it separate? I think my fav thus far is Jif’s natural (
s?categoryid=339 ) because the answer to both of the previous questions is “NO!” on this Jif’s variety – and I like that.

By the way, thanks for stopping by my blog earlier … and yes, I do need to slow down because I am EXHAUSTED at this point. But it was one of those things where I was on a roll and afraid that if I sat down – that would be the end of it! So I just kept going….

Oh! And I was mowing the lawn in the {almost} dark because I was afraid if I didn't start on the process, it wasn't going to get done. I have another late day today, so hopefully I can manage to get in the other half of the front before the sun sets, this time!
