Tried any new foods recently?

I've been trying new things at least once a week. This week I really stepped out of my comfort zone and bought ANCHOVIES!!
I really didn't know what to do with them... a serving is 5-6 of little buggers... so, I took 5 and chopped them up finely and added them to my salad at lunch. Interestingly, they do NOT taste fishy AT ALL... they taste salty, salty, salty... They were pretty good in my salad and for 25 calories and 4 grams of protein, that aint bad!
One thing that kinda weirded me out was that one looked like it had "hair" on it... I, of course, googled it and found out they're digestible rib bones and totally safe.. uhhhh.. yeah.. well, I went ahead and cut them off anyway. eeeewwwwwww
I think the complex saltiness that they have would be perfect in a vinaigrette... so I'm going to scour the interwebs (as my English friend says) and see if I can find a good Paleo Vinaigrette recipe using anchovies...
Have y'all ever eaten Anchovies on anything other than an authentic Caesar Salad or on a Pizza?? If so, what's your favorite way??
