Ending April Strong

Tuesday, April 30, 2013

Wow, this is the last day of my birthday month. All I can say is wow. What a blessing it has been, a whirlwind, a devastating loss of a loved one, confirmation of long sought degree, steps toward better health and fitness, a Vegas trip, small steps for a new relationship, powerful team building experiences and the list goes on and on

My Aunt Harriet went home to be with the Lord on April 25. I am so grateful for the last earthly conversation I had with her and i rejoice her being in her new address.

I turned 51 on April 5th. Coming into my own, loving life and full of hope. I celebrated throughout the month going shopping, doing movies, going to Vegas, going shopping emoticon emoticon emoticon . Now back to reality and back to basics. I won't say the party is over, just to be continued.

I returned to second shift. Love it. Missed it! Making it work for me.

Finally will put that degree on my wall. Next chapter for grad school-study what I want, to have passion for living my own dream.

Made new friends, developing a new relationship. Baby steps. God knows my heart and I am not in a rush, in a hurry.

Relief for my back! Yeah! emoticon Took that first shot in the spine and I must say I feel some relief. Here we go, on to start retraining for couch to 5k, leading up to some 10K's! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Looking forward to a bigger, better , brighter future. To God be the glory!
