Today is a better day....Joy comes in the morning

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5

I woke to find the sun is a beautiful day today. I got my workout today doing some dancing to upbeat tunes and walking. Today I'm concentrating on the things I have to be grateful for... my family, friends, this beautiful day, the prayers and comforting support from others. I'm so grateful that I was blessed to have had such a wonderful mom and that we got those extra years with her, and best of all that she is no longer in pain and that some day I will see her again. In the meantime I know that she is loving and guiding me still although she is no longer here with me physically.

This song really brings me comfort...

If You Could See Me Now

Our prayers have been answered
I finally arrived
The healing that had been delayed
Is now realized
No one's in a hurry
There's no schedule to keep
We're all enjoying Jesus
Just sitting at His feet
If you could see me now
I'm walking streets of gold
If you could see me now
I'm walking tall and whole
If you could see me now
You'd know I've seen His face
If you could see me now
You'd know the pain's erased
You wouldn't want me
to ever leave this place
If only you could see me now
My light and temporary trials
Have worked out for my good
To know it brought Him glory
When I misunderstood
Though we've had our sorrows
They can never compare
To what Jesus has in store for us
No language can compare

I CAN see you now, Mom....I know it was a glorious homecoming for you and we are all so grateful that your pain and suffering is erased! You will always be in my heart and I know you will always be there loving us all and guiding us from Heaven. I miss you terribly but I'm so glad that you are in a better place. A friend gave me his comforting words of wisdom...

"Mothers who we are close to us are soul mates.
When they leave the body ( mine did few months back) they
are able to help us more. They become like an overlighting presence
opening up the way. When we expand our awareness to accommodate that perspective we become more powerful. Love more, think less. Breathe more, think less. Vision more, think less. Time to love like you have never loved before." Thanks Nick, that is how I will think of Mom, like a light from above opening up the way!

I know there will be days where there are more tears than joy and that is just a normal part of the process. Hopefully the sad days will become more few and farther between. Whatever the day brings,... This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalms 118:24
