Planning will help me direct my outcomes for this month, I'm not leaving it to chance.
My goal:
To get the scale to move Downward.
Eat PlantStrong.
Mediation once daily.

My reasons to get the scale to move downward are:
1. Hopefully to assist in alleviating my GI issues.
2. Ease my hip pain.

Hmmm... sounds like aversion therapy. Perhaps but if working on developing a healthy lifestyle will decrease my health issues, then it is a win in my book.

Eat PlantStrong - Eating mostly plants is what I have been trending toward for my healthy lifestyle. I now have some recipes ingrained in my brain so it is easier to be a bit more creative and it is easier to develop a menu. May 1st begins PCRM's (Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine) 21-Day Vegan Kickstart

will be my go to to start off the month.

Exercise- has many benefits, strengthens us and releases stress.

I need to schedule these and make them happen even when I do not feel like it.

Posting what I am grateful for and doing a short mediation helps lower my stress which is an important part of my healthy lifestyle. Here is a sample, it starts a few minutes in. during those minutes I prep for mediation. Light a candle, get comfortable...

    I am confident if you stick with the vegan food choices after the challenge that it will help. I helped my MIL go vegan when she was diagnosed with diabetes and now she is completely off the medication. I love your plan and wish you well in the 21 day vegan challenge. emoticon
