Slow & Steady

I just finished reading Chapter 8 of the Spark. I'm really happy with the way things are going so far. I was a little worried because I had soda at Sea World on Friday. I took 3 bottle of water with me but it was really hot and went through it fairly quickly. All the walking must have helped with the calories though because I lost another 2 lbs this week!

I'm slowing changing the foods in our house to healthy options. We can't afford to just get rid of everything and bring in new but I haven't been buying "junk" food. Once it's gone it's gone. I don't think the kids have noticed yet. lol Either that or they don't care. I'm glad that I have always encouraged them to eat fruits and veggies anyhow, it makes the transition alot easier.

I've found that I have been using the "I've been too busy" excuse alot lately when it comes to getting my exercise so I'm going to focus on that this week. I didn't do to great with my goals last week so I'm going to work on them more this week. We also got a weight bench so I'm going to start working with that too.

My goals for this week are:
Drink 8 cups of water
10 mins of exercise
5 Fruits & Veggies
Eat Breakfast
7-8 hrs of sleep
Write in a blog post

I'm also going to look at my long term goals again as some things have shifted.
