Oh well...

Things got a little out of hand yesterday evening as the alcohol started to take effect.

Although to be perfectly fair with myself it could have been a lot worse. I did have some oven chips but is wasn't a huge portion. And I had eggs with em instead of anything too calorific. And I did forgo the chunky, white, sliced bread at 155 cals a slice!

But I did eat three weight watchers bakewell slices.

This is the thing with WW food. I sear they are the same cals as any other food but because they are packaged in small portions they can get away with saying they are good for losing weight. Ot it could just be sour grapes on my part for eating so many of them...

I did also have only slice of garlic bread. I could have eaten the whole thing...

My total cal intake is about 2000. I did have a quorn burrito at 234 cals but will need to input the details as it seems no one has had one of these yet. It was quite nice and I think ok for something quick but would have been greatly enhanced by being smothered with cheese and served with nachos, guacamole and sour cream...

Not sure how today is gong to pan out. Have some stuff to do. The Boyz will need taking out. Some shopping to get.
Will need to do some research for my interview I think as well.

I feel like I need to eat some nice food today. Something healthy and a bit different. I did find a recipe for some chickpea and beetroot burgers a few days ago so might have those with grilled red pepper and asparagus sprinkled with Parmesan on a bed of rocket.

Where I live the house backs onto fields so the blind is open all night and often the window is too. This means I wake to the birds and daylight - sometimes even with sunshine. I was laid in bed this morning listening to the end of the dawn chorus thinking how lovely it all is and how lucky I am.

And here is something else which makes me very happy...

    Just as an aside. Parmesan isn't vegetarian as it contains calf rennet rather than the synthetic stuff that most cheese has these days. It can't be called Parmesan if it's made any other way.

    Other than that, sounds like a really good day.

    Your honesty is laudable! I sometimes hesitate before I log the food items I've gone overboard on, but who am I fooling - not even myself.

    I've put a couple of lbs back on since Easter, so decided to redeem the situation by eating 8 ginger nut biscuits!! Must get back on the wagon as I've got a wedding in two weeks and the dress won't hide any naughtiness.
