Checking in.

Friday, April 26, 2013

Thought I should check in before people start calling the morgue.

I'm still around, but having a rough time of it. Work is still killing me, wife and I had a couple bad days again, and I broke myself again (5 stressed tendons).

Have you ever woke up late and can only find one clean sock? Yes, that has been my life for the past 2 months or so.

Good news though- next work schedule should have reduced hours (down to 50), had discussion with wife, and found an athletic trainer to help with body.

10 more days of overworked status, then things should be coming around.

Thought of the day- sometimes life doesn't let you move forward, just plant your feet and face the right direction. you will get your break, mine is coming in 11 days. emoticon emoticon

Glad that you checked in - sounds like it is time for me to light a candle -which I will happily do. Glad that you can see a light in the tunnel coming up...so many changes this year it is bound to put a huge stress on you and your family and working a tons of hours doesn't help! Thinking of you and sending you some energy, and some happiness

Very inspiring message. I like the image of just pointing our feet in the right direction until our break comes. I will keep that one and remind myself of it as my challenges seem insurmountable.

Good advice for when life seems to put on the brakes. Hang in there for 11 more days and enjoy smooth sailing thereafter. You earned it!

I wish life would settle down for you but what doesn't break you makes you stronger. You will be so strong! One day at a time my friend and you will get there! Looking forward to hearing from you more in 11 days.
