The last couple of days have been crazy, hectic and stressful. But, I actually think I needed it. It's been a break from the normal and pretty nice actually. We spent the better part of the day on the go riding around with a friend and meeting tons of people.

I managed to drink a few beers, turn down grilled fatty food, and avoid the sweet tea and other yummies I was offered and come in smack in mid calorie range. But I did fit in an awesome salad. I even got in some fitness playing fetch with the dogs. I was pretty impressed with myself. I even got into a discussion with a gas station clerk that carded me assuring him I was the same person that's on my Driver's License...he finally decided it was me when I pointed out that the tattoo under my collar bone is a perfect match....but, the DMV close to us wouldn't retake my photo because I lost 2 chins and some cheek fat...so, I guess I just have to verify myself via tattoo until it expires next February.

See super powered salad...spring mix, cucumber, tomato, carrots, red beans, ranch salad spritzer all for less than 200 and that's a really big bowl.

This morning we loaded up and headed out early to make it to Chick Day at the feed mill. My wallet feels raw but, I'm happy because I now have a Black Spanish turkey, Blue Slate turkey, African Grey goose, White Embden goose, and two Silkie chickens one white and one grey.

Now, I'm waiting on my Mom to get here so we can go to the thrift store shopping. I'm in desperate need of pants and I want them cheap because I hope not to stay this size for very long. I'm getting really fed up wearing baggy ones that chaff my still fat inner thighs. That and I'd like to put on jeans and look like I have a butt. Oh, I'd also like not to have my pants flapping in the wind around me.

Some how I have a feeling today is going to be a dull follow up to an awesome yesterday. Just getting out of my element was a huge help but, I'll admit it I'm almost sad to be right back to pretty much normal.

I found an awesome skirt, shorts, and 1 pair of jeans all a size 15 that fit. I also bought an outfit in a size 14 as a motivational tool. I'm ready to wear them because I love the it!

I did however split some cashew chicken with my Mom so calories are kinda high for the day. But, I'm am planning on making spaghetti and meatballs for dinner so I will be brave and try a recipe I found for zucchini noodles.

Fantastic! You are really going strong! I'm glad you like thrift stores, because my favorite is Goodwill. I tried on four pairs of jeans there a couple weeks ago, and three fit, so I bought them, at $4 each, it was affordable.

Sounds like you had a great day yesterday!!! Good luck on your jeans hunt! I got lucky and found an affordable pair of jeans and bought them in 3 sizes. I'm in the middle ones pretty comfortably now, I can't wait to be able to wear the smallest ones... emoticon emoticon emoticon
