sleep...what sleep.

Friday, April 26, 2013

I am up late again. As a mom of 3 you'd think I'd just die as soon as I touch my bed especially since my kids go to bed at 9 pm sharpe every night unless they fall asleep sooner. Tonight's worry. O u know. Stuff. LOL I recently got my tubes tied. Why? Well I'm 22 and have 3 kids I'm a single mom. Enough said. Anyways the doctor informed me I had an excess amount of fluid in my body. He said he got it tested ( never said for what ) and said it was fine. But he did seem baffled. So I was looking up what it could mean ....terrible. all I want is sleep but I seem to find something to trouble my thoughts. BTW I know I'm totally blessed by God with my 3 awesome kids. Even my 8 month old goes to bed easy. Plus who doesn't love smiling faces to say good morning to.

I have 3 kids myself. My first one was born 15 days after my 17th birthday. Being a young mom is hard. Like you though, I've been gifted with amazing sleepers (unless they're sick). By 8 pm my boys are done for the night.

Try getting into a bedtime routine that doesn't include snacking or TV. Do you like to read? Do you find soft music soothing? Try to find what works best for you.

If you're worried about something, quickly jot down a plan to deal with it tomorrow. Like medical curiosity over odd tests, write down "research fluid issue." Just knowing that you're not ignoring the issue, you just PLAN to deal with it tomorrow you may sleep easier.
