It's a beautiful morning...

Thursday, April 25, 2013

I always loved Belle in the Disney film Beauty & the Beast because when things were good, she sang. I feel like singing this morning! It's so beautiful out. I slept with the windows open last night - best sleep ever!

Anyway, PT this morning went well. Though he gave me the "lecture" about tapering properly. I'm bad at it. I feel lazy! But my legs need the rest, so I shall try to behave. Lots of stretching and icing!

Last night was one of those somewhat frustrating but ultimately successful shopping trips. I hate shopping for clothes. Truly hate it. Yet nothing of my former summer wardrobe fits any more, and with CR coming up so quickly I needed stuff! So off I went. And ultimately I have enough now to get by.

Then I ran 3 miles through the crowds of people out enjoying the sun. It was like an obstacle run, but instead of stationary objects I was dodging small children on bikes, dogs, and adults who were aimlessly wandering in the beautiful night air. It was pretty amusing. The run itself was hard after the previous night's workout, but hey - if it were easy it wouldn't be worth it! :)

Sounds to me like you're doing a great job, Jeckie. I was out at the Chelmsford bike path this morning and thought about you. Keep up the great work.

I love mornings and days that like! Oh to sleep with the windows open - not warm enough for us yet! Mother Nature is so indecisive lately in Illinois! Congrats on successful shopping!
