Whatever you do don't get frustrated.
I have played the calorie in and calorie out game for almost seven years now and I know if your eating at the lower end which is fine as long as your eating nutrient rich foods.
I would look at what your eating and what the nutrition value are in the foods your eating. Try for nutrient rich good for you foods. Lots of veggies and lean meats.
Hang in there and track the nutrients in your diet.
Best wishes on your journey. Sandy

I know of very short women who have to eat less than 1200 calories to lose and maintain weight loss.

However, I recommend not eating the same amount every day. Establish an upper and lower amount. Then flip a coin each day to determine which one you'll choose. (I used heads- upper limit.) This varies the intake enough that your body doesn't decide to conserve. It is better if it is random; thus the coin toss.

I'm not actively trying to lose anymore but I know for periods of time I ate a lot less than I was told I should be able to eat. It was mostly because I just wasn't hungry, not because I was trying to force more weight off. It would last only a few weeks and I would lose some. After some fluctuation following the phase, I would stabilize at a lower weight, though not necessarily as low as I had gone.

Sane eating is my real goal, anyway.

If you have honestly tracked all your food and beverage calories, then my next stop would be the doctor. I've heard of people who lose slowly but I've never heard of a starvation diet producing no weight loss. I'm eating in the 1500 calorie range and losing 2-3 pounds per week; my resting metabolism is around 2200.

Try boosting up your calories and see if that helps! Good luck!

They actually say you shouldn't eat under 1200 calories for a woman or under 1800 calories for a man. It can prevent you from losing weight because your body goes into fat storage mode because it thinks it is being starved. I do think it is weird though that you didn't lose ANY. You'd think you would have lost something. I try to stick around 1200-1500 and I am losing weight and I weight 178 right now. I started at 262. Maybe try raising it a little and see what that does for you. I know I have to do that sometimes in order to lose if I've been eating too low for awhile.
