So, I decided to try and help me to get back on track, I'm going to try to blog every day about how my day went--no matter how much or little I have to say.

Today could have been better.

I slept in a little bit, so I didn't have time to make or bring my breakfast or lunch to work. I had a cup of coffee a couple of hours into work and then had a few glasses of this new unsweetened raspberry iced tea we're serving at lunch. I didn't eat a single bite until I got out of work at 4:30pm--I had to drop something off at the corporate office on my way home and I also had to get gas. At the gas station, I picked up a bag of M&Ms and some Ruffle Potato chips. I scarfed those down on the way to the office and on the way home. When I got home, I ate a bagel with some butter and a few crackers with peanut butter. I wasn't too hungry for dinner, so I had a big fruit salad: I cut up an orange, pear, strawberries, and grapes. I drizzled that with some honey.

I had planned on going to the gym tonight, but I don't know. I don't think I'm going to make it. I really wanted to because my pants were fitting really tight today, but I am so tired. And I know that's because of what I've been eating lately. I'd really like to start tanning a little because I've been breaking out a little bit.

We get the keys to our new apartment on Monday...let me just say I can't wait! I feel like I'll be more likely to cook in our new kitchen because it is open to the living room and not closed off like our kitchen is right now. We'll have more counter space for prep, too. I'm also excited for the 2nd bedroom and the fact that it is a block away from my sister and a block away from the Erie canal, which has a beautiful walking path along the side. Plus its right in the village, so its walking distance to a grocery store, all kinds of shops, a gas station--I'm really excited.

Oh and I'm still committed to the Chase Corporate Challenge 5K on May 21st with my mom, dad, and sister, so less than a month for that. I also joined a softball team with my sister, so that should be fun, too. Practices and games for that start the week after the Corporate Challenge. I've got to lose some of my spare tire so I feel comfortable out on the field with everyone looking at me...

Until tomorrow...

Well it sounds like you have some good things heading your way, getting out and doing physical stuff is always good! I think it's a good idea to just blog about your day, because eventually you will be able to go back and read them and see what was happening on the days that you felt good and the days that you felt bad. Same goes for logging food, you can keep track of how you felt and what you were eating, that can give you insight into what foods you should be consuming.
