**** Potpourri for $500, Alex! ***

I have been crazy busy and I am even blogging on the run now so my blog will be a highly random potpourri pot of everything that has been going on in the past few days.

I have been travelling for 3 weeks out of the month for the past three months. I am tired. I am snacky. I am bloated. Trying to eat healthy living out of a hotel or a car or Denver International airport is next to impossible. The last I checked, I was up 1.6 lbs. I feel like I have gained 30. This week I am in San Ramon, CA and the corporate training team is sponsoring a Learning Conference for the business line trainers in the company. It is a fun way for us to come together and share best practices. HOWEVER, our SVP is a huge foodie and it is like he is loving us with bagels and hors'd'ouvres.

He did set up a great event for our smaller team that was so much fun. We went to this women's lovely home in the hills of Danville, CA where she operates a private cooking experience. She taught us to make filet mignon, salmon, chocolate lava cake and a bunch of other things. It was fun to cook with my team and of course the endless bottles of wine were a hit as well. Still, I have managed every single night to go down to the hotel gym and put in an hour to an hour and a half workout. I am proud of myself for that.

Before I go, I wanted to let you all know that beginning next week I will be getting Vitamin B12 injections with a girlfriend of mine from a licensed physician. What are your thoughts?

    As always you're the trooper. Working out even when you're on the road and exhausted. I've taken B-12 vitamins and I at one time took shots. Didn't really make a difference and it could possibly be because I was anemic as well. I'm really feeling a difference with the Super Green vitamins - I feel better all over when I'm not ailing with a pain/discomfort. My GI doctor told me about this as it helps when you don't get in enough green veggies and with my GI problem my body doesn't absorb a lot of nutrients easily. I've been taking them about 2 months now. Hope things slow down for you soon, so you can get back to life as you know it.

    B-12 is very important to your diet. It helps build red blood cells and nerve cells. It comes from animal products so vegetarians need to be sure to get supplements. Sometimes people don't get enough or their bodies aren't processing it well resulting in a lack of B-12 absorption. My doctor prescribed for me over the counter B-12. If you've been having energy problems, you should also look into taking magnesium. Make sure you ask your doctor why he is prescribing this for you and it's importance so that you understand. B-12 is very safe to take. Here's to your health!

    I have heard great things about b-shots. A friend used to do them and had a lot of energy. :)

    Traveling 3 weeks out of the month and staying on track is no easy task! Great job on that!! I have had a b-12 shot before and I honestly didn't notice the difference so I quit getting them. I think every person is different though. :)

    I took the B12 shots about 7 years ago. They helped a little in the energy department. I stopped due to the cost.

    Wow, you are a busy bee. Way to keep the workout going....I am taking the B12 vitamin pills but I still lack energy sometimes. Let me know how the injections go...I really don't know much about them so I cannot offer any advice.

    I am in the same boat. I'm so busy, traveling, moving, ugh... I feel drained. I still fit in my clothes, so I haven't gained the 20# it feels like I've gained, but I'm still avoiding the scale.

    I'm drinking a lot of vitamin water with B-vitamins to pick me up, so hopefully the shots will help you out.
