Finding Inspiration Today

I'm getting a slow start to the morning. I woke up early to work and then fell back to sleep. I got up again and moved to the computer but still haven't started on anything I really need to get done today. I did weigh and my scale went a bit funky for awhile. It might be time to invest in a new one but the final weight for today was 248.8, up .8 from Saturday. I'm not going to enter it since I know I am retaining water today.

So my inspiration for today....

It's true. The scale may not say much but I know that I am moving more than I have in awhile. I'm not going to fret about it today, I'm just going to get up and move when I can. The key word is I can. I can move today. Maybe I can't run a triathlon or Zumba with the best of them but I can do something.

Goals for today:

emoticon Steps and converted exercise = 4500 steps at least (already got in 5 min of chair dancing this morning) emoticon

emoticon Freggie with every meal and snack emoticon

emoticon Get in at least 2 strength exercises today emoticon

    Having a slower day is not necessarily a bad thing. Lets you recharge your batteries and get some thinking about things in, and some much needed rest. Just move as you can and enjoy the day anyway. There will be plenty of time to pick up the pace when you are ready for it. emoticon

    I love that saying about "Lapping everyone on the Couch"! I had that going through my head yesterday while on the treadmill! "I may be slow, but I'm still lapping everyone on the couch!"
    Even a little bit of exercise, or fun/play (I'm thinking of the other day when I was "helping" the kids fly kites) counts!
    We all have our up days and our down days - just yesterday, I felt like a slug!
    Keep your chin up and keep moving!
