Another day accounted for

Tuesday, April 23, 2013

When I first started blogging, I found myself always blogging when I was finished with nutrition, exercise, and updating goals, earning points, and so on. I have decided that works well for me, as somehow it seems that it is another goal - something that helps me be accountable.

Now I see another opportunity to add to the list of things that make me accountable! For example, today I found myself thinking about writing notes and comments back to Sparkfriends, and although I wrote some this morning, there are others that could benefit from a more thoughtful reply.

The reason I think this will be better is because if I work on this healthy lifestyle change all day I will have a full sense of what did happen toward that goal and hopefully why; and maybe I will have some ideas to contribute. Maybe it will even help me to be more mindful, as I will be most likely mention what worked and what didn't when replying.

It's worth a try, don't you think? I do want to latch onto every possibility to push me toward my goal!

Sounds like a great plan ! I think it helps so much when you reach out to others, say a kind word, share a thought or quote or to keep in touch. I think when we reach out and do for others and give them the support they are looking for, it in turn helps us to stay focused and accountable in our own journey too. Sparkpeople is an awesome tool to have in your bag to make your goals happen. You can vent, share, learn, grow , encourage, be encouraged.. and the list could go on. We all have shared most of the same interests and situations that brought us onto Sparkpeople in the first place. It's nice to know that you are involving your self with like-minded people. I have found myself , that the more I involve myself with others here, that people are more willing to interact with me as well. emoticon
