Quite a day

Monday, April 22, 2013

I decided to get a massage today. My therapist, Gabi, was awesome. We talked about my sore abdomen (from surgery) and then focused on a healing (maybe Reiki) based treatment. She modified things so much and made me feel better.

I am blessed with a trainer, Lisa, who really goes the extra mile. She has patiently transformed my workouts to things that meet the strict criteria of my surgeon. I am still seeing her 3 times a week. I am walking and doing steps as well.

I am down in the dumps with my primary care doctor's office. I found out they have a new policy. I got caught in their new policy.

You are still amazing and you are recovering very well. It can be tough to have surprises, and the restrictions are going to feel constraining. Still, don't take for granted how much all your preparation is helping, as well as having some really helpful team members!

It's ok to be emotionally and physically spent and take all the rest breaks you need!

I hope tomorrow is better. Although my cleaning specialist is a sub, for my normal person. It is tough to be sick and have all these hurdles to overcome. Guess I'll call an agency. I am really at a low point with restrictions on what I can do. Thanks for listening.

Good trainers and good massage therapists are the best!! Sorry you were let down in the Dr's office. Guess you'll have to tell them never again!
