weight in and tip to eat less chips

Sunday, April 21, 2013

I forgot to write yesterday, that I weighted 68,3 kg yesterday at the gym. This looks like a weight my body has found a balance at, because it has been approximately the same for a while now (few grams up or down, but very often exactly). I weight myself 2 times per week at the gym, before workout and after bathroom visit. The times are different: in Tuesdays it's around 7 PM and on Saturndays it's around 2-3 PM but otherwise the variables are almost the the same.

Last night I had my "cheat meal" which was 100g of potato chips. I enjoyed them with big bowl of green grapes. Eating so little of chips is a new consept to me because I used to inhale 350 g bag in record time. Having a smaller portion and really enjoying them is oddly satisfying!

I read a tip somewhere to always serve chips (and such) with for example fresh veggie sticks and healthy dip or like I did now, with grapes or other fruits (or mixture). You can become fuller with the nutritious fruit/veggies and the chips feel satisfying in smaller quantities. I have found this to be a good tip: not only it makes eating less chips easy, I have a better conscience knowing I have eaten also something healthy.

Today I went to about 45 minutes walk with our pack (dog and fiance), it was a gorgeous day!
