Sun shining again

The sun is shining so far today. Hope it stays that way. We are celebrating our 45th anniversary. Not doing anything special today but plan on going to the cities for a ball game on Monday and staying over night. So far I think that is a bad mistake because of the cold weather but we are northern people and will survive it. Dress warm for sure, and then again they could cancel it for rain or snow. So is the life in Iowa and Minnesota.

We are helping the family that lost everything to a fire, move into a place today with many things that were given to them to start over. They are so blessed with friends. Probably won't have to do much for the wrestling team and coach have come forward to do most of the moving. My son is helping also. Our school is the best when it comes to being there for others. I also have a wedding shower to go to of a little girl I use to babysit. I found that the wedding will be in Sioux Falls, SD so don't think we will make it to that.

The calendar is filling up fast with many things going to happen this summer. As usual it will all go to fast. I am hoping for more camping this year then we got in last year plus a trip some where with hubbys sister and husband.

The eating has gotten better and I need to push more on the excercise. I promised myself that if I can get into the 160s I would reserve a 2 day trip on the river boat in southern Iowa. I have heard so much about it and think it would be fun to cruise the Mississippi river on a paddle boat. So that is my treat to myself if goal is met. Push, push to make it happen.

Have a good weekend my dear friends.
