What a day!

Friday, April 19, 2013

So today has been pretty awesome. I was tired this morning, but dragged my sorry behind out of bed, and got the girls off too school.

It's been a bit grey today, but that didn't matter, because today I got to have tea and lunch with OBIESMOM! She came down to see me, and it was wonderful to talk to another Sparker and get to actually talk about things I love. No one else around here wants to hear me blabber about yummy foods and running woes!

After our (very long!) lunch, I got home to find the materials for my standing desk here! I ordered the parts to make one from Ikea, and my husband's at the hardware store getting the last couple bits and bobs we need. When I get it done, I will report back with how it looks! I need to take a photo of my desk now before we start putting it together.

Now I'm enjoying two kids who are getting along for once, we're having a yummy sandwich dinner (homemade, and I'm slicing avocado for mine! AND we have some homemade pork skins from the local BBQ place that are just OMG AWESOME.

This has been a wonderful, uplifting, happy day. Much needed!
