April 2013 update

I'm on a roll. I've been logging food for 4 weeks now, with the help of the iphone app. I love scanning barcodes with it. It's too much fun. I'm also signed up for a 5 mile obstacle course run in early June which has me VERY motivated to work out more.
I like Lean Cuisine's salad starters. I eat a huge amount of spring mix/spinach every day and never stay full for long if I don't have something with it. I know it's very processed and probably not that great for me but it's ok for now. Once I move into my house (hopefully in the next month or so) I'll have a kitchen all to myself to make healthy meals every day.
Last winter I got lazy and ate junk food. I gained 8 lbs. So far I'm down 3 so I'm happy. Better yet, I FEEL better, more energy and motivated.
