    Thank you so much for the support! Sorry for the delayed response. I am astonished at the support and love I feel from you all. I have always needed to hear affirmations and vocal encouragement from others to believe in myself. Now more than ever. I can't wait to get to know you all better and learn about your journeys.

    Welcome :-) I added you. I felt much like you when I started and I still do a bit but I have more confidence now in my new lifestyle change. At some point I passed the sized 20 pants mark too and it came pretty much all of a sudden (for me I'd say a matter of 6 months). I couldn't find any jeans in my favorite brand that would fit me. I had to resort to buying pants not jeans in size 22s and I think I even had one 24 that fit loose but still it fit.

    I was just waiting for that moment to come along as to when I would get disgusted with it all and I finally did. That's when I came here in Feb. of 2013. I've lost 15 pounds so far and managed to get back into a 20! That doesn't sound like success to a skinny size 12 girl but it's major success to me and it's all because of Spark People's food tracker and the support I have from friends on blogs and videos here :-) I too have big dreams of a 50 pound weight loss and eventually another 50 or so after that. Hang in there friend :-)

    I think you will find the wide diversity of people from weight lost, to weight to lose, age, ethnics, economics.... to get the spark you can make your own here at sparkpeople

    thanks for video, I am partial to vloggers and prefer to view over reading when it comes to blogs

    You have come to the right place for help with losing the weight. Glad that you realize the threat of diabeties and heart disease. Work on tracking everything you eat, drink the 64 oz. of water and exercise. Your goals are good and I am wishing you much success! emoticon

    On thing I would suggest is: Keep collecting Spark Friends like candy!! It is calorie free and they always give you something to "chew on"!!

    You can just "friend" need to ask. We are friendly and don't bite!

    You can find motivation and inspiration from everyone here, even those that are struggling (because you know how they feel!!) Welcome new people, Join teams, blog, join challenges, blog, , vlog, be excited, blog. And did I mention: blog (ro vlog as the case may be?) The future fabulous you will want to look back at your journey and will want to encourage others!! When the excitement wanes (it WILL!!) put down your pom poms and lurk in the background, (but don't leave and don't do too much damage) and wait for the tide to turn...pick up your oars and keep rowing.

    You can do this!!
