Homeschool's end

On our long walk yesterday we talked about a lot of things, but mostly my youngest son's plans for next year. Like all his older sibs he's been homeschooled since kindergarten. He will be seventeen in a few weeks and is finishing up 11th grade. My 20 year old (who lives at home and commutes to a local university) started at the community college while in high school. He did his senior year of high school as a full time community college student. It gave him a head start and he's recommending his younger brother do the same. It looks likely that is what my youngest will do next year. If that is so I'm looking at the last few months of homeschooling. I've homeschooled for nearly 22 years. Four kids kindergarten to college. What an adventure! I wonder what comes next!

    Awesome! I homeschooled my daughter for three years during a crisis period and found that very rewarding. I can only imagine what you have experienced!

    Maybe you can write a memories record for your kids to read to their kids when they begin school!

    This could be the beginning of something amazing for you. I do think the combination of the impending empty-nest syndrome and perimenopause is what started me on my sparkjourney initially. You've done a great job to homeschool them all the way through!
