Grinding it out

Wednesday, April 17, 2013

Well, I stuck to my new "adjustments" last night/this morning. 1) Measured my creamer - had 4 servings (acutally 160 calories - I lied). 2) Ran 4 miles and 3) Skipped my skinny cow bar last night.

I also ate VERY few calories yesterday. Not really on purpose - I just ate my normal food during the workday (yogurt for breakast, healthy choice for lunch) and then made wise choices with my Subway order (6" turkey, veggies, no cheese, no mayo on wheat) which was only 280 calories. I lost 1.0 lbs this morning - let's hope the scale keeps going in this direction - as it's been all over the place in the past 2-3 weeks.

I feel like I'm mentally getting stronger. Denying myself stuff and/or making myself do stuff is getting... well, not eaiser, but I'm just getting USED to it. I'm getting used to running in the morning. I'm getting used to HATING the last mile. I'm getting used to not drinking. I'm getting used to being (just a little) hungry.

I'm researching Crossfit. There is a Crossfit gym/program in town that I would like to try. This will be a big step when I do this. I've made the decision to do it - I just need to make the decision on when to start. I will make myself set a date to start this by the end of this week.

Sounds like you've got a strategy in place to reach your goal. Be sure to eat enough calories to keep yourself out of the danger zone. Blessings
