Taking the Official 10 minute Daily Exercise Challenge...

One of the greatest direction changes I have to make is to get back into the habit of daily exercise. I wear my pedometer everyday faithfully, and am pretty consistent in getting at least 3500 steps each day. My body is used to this now.

My body is now used to bowling twice a week, too.

I'm choosing to use my Wii Fit Advanced Step for 10 minutes each morning. I'm thinking it will be good for getting my body parts moving early...LOL! With RA, this can be a bit difficult, but it IS necessary to help me manage my disease.
These first 10 minutes are my foundation for building a healthy fitness regimen. It is all I need to concentrate on at the moment. Once the habit is established, I can add on the next step.
emoticon Slow AND Steady wins the race... it will enable me to enjoy the journey to being healthier and fitter.
I look forward to this new phase in my Spark Journey!

    Great work Leah! I have always loved my step classes, didn't know the Wii had something like that.. Enjoy! Wish I could go back to bowling, but this elbow problem has been a huge set back in my life in all things especially as I am right handed!

    Another idea is to "sneak" in some yoga...give it a try! Especially first thing in the morning... emoticon
