It is so easy to get frustrated. I am trying to lose weight, yet I gained 6 pounds in this last week. I wanted to start walking more since the weather is getting nicer and warmer out. That hasn't happened in a week. We lost a lady at work a week ago last night. They have had me working her shift, 12midnight to 8am (Mon, Tues, Wed last week) and mine from 11pm to 7am (Fri and Sat). This week is the same schedule. By the time I get home, I am exhausted and go right to sleep, then sleep most of the day. Usually I get up just before it gets dark. Unfortunately, my area has no street lights so it isn't safe to walk after dark. Also- on the overnight shift, there really isn't anything to do since we don't get many calls so I end up munching and snacking all night. That isn't good. I really hope that I get scheduled for evenings with this next schedule (or even days). That way, even if I don't get a chance to walk at home, I can bring my walkman to work and take a walk on my breaks. Maybe I can get my hubby to get some cans of fruit, fresh fruit, etc for me to bring to work.
