Time Management and Focus

Tuesday, April 16, 2013

I'm in the middle of my mock exams and approaching my externals (Yikes!) and I'm trying as best as I can to manage my time as properly and efficiently as I can. Considering I'm also still recovering from my spine surgery I think I'm doing fantastically well. Haven't heard from many of my friends since I'm missing out on school days and all, but all is well. Recently I've been stressing out because I'm worried I won't be able to catch up with everyone in terms of studying and might not do as well as I could have. But if i think about it, studying requires staying at home, not getting distracted and having nothing else to focus on but at the same time taking care of one's sense of well-being (hanging out with my parents, especially my dad, has helped me feel much more balanced than I had in a long time). I've got two goals, to recover as fast as possible and actually put a good amount of pure effort and focus into my studying. I also want to all this with the best mood and optimism that I can muster. If I was my most positive during the toughest moments of my life (going through the hell of fixating my spine, surgery, trauma and the whole hospital stay) then surely I will feel even better now that I am back to being healthy and strong emoticon
