BLC 18 - Week 1 Challenge - Letter to Myself in 10wks

Dear Rachel,

Remember when you committed to your healthy lifestyle change way back in August 2012? Remember how heavy you were and how desperate you were to get those pounds off? Remember how scared you were when you realized your weight could kill you one day? Look at you now! When you first started the BLC 18 just ten weeks ago, you were working hard but also losing steam, and you needed new motivation. And you found it!

I am SO proud of the things you have accomplished during the past ten weeks. Did you ever think you would run a 5K?? You did it! Did you ever think you’d be able to wear shorts again without being embarrassed? Now you can. :-) But even more important than the way you look is the way you feel. You are more confident now; you can do ANYTHING you set your mind to! Yeah, losing weight was important, but it’s what’s on the inside that counts.

Don’t see the BLC as the end of your journey. It’s just another stepping stone on your journey to a happy, healthy life. You still have a few pounds to go, but girl you can do this! If you could come this far, there is not end to what you can accomplish! Just keep going!
